Materials
At ARIU Studio, we work with noble materials such as 18k gold, 950 silver, and natural gemstones. Each piece is a handcrafted creation that deserves special care to preserve its brilliance and perfection.
1. Avoid Exposure to Chemicals
Substances such as oils, perfumes, cosmetics, ink, solvents, chlorine, detergents, and other harsh liquids can damage metals, gemstones, and other elements of your jewelry. Please remove your pieces when cleaning, exercising, using a sauna, or bathing in chlorinated or saltwater pools.
2. Avoid Extreme Environments
Do not expose your jewelry to direct sunlight for extended periods or to extremely high or low temperatures. These factors can affect the finish, color, or structural integrity of the piece.
3. Proper Handling
Handcrafted jewelry can be sensitive to scratches, impacts, drops, or improper handling. Avoid using your pieces as tools, applying pressure, or forcing them. Handle your jewelry with care and attention.
4. Contact with Water
Unless specified otherwise, avoid deliberately submerging or wetting your jewelry. Remove pieces before washing your hands, bathing, or swimming. Water—especially chlorinated or saltwater—can affect natural gemstones and precious metals.
5. Storage
Store your jewelry in its original case or wrapped in soft tissue paper, avoiding prolonged exposure to open air. Isolating pieces from dust, external agents, and contact with other jewelry will help preserve their shine and optimal condition.
6. Cleaning
We offer a complimentary cleaning service at ARIU Studio. Depending on the condition of your piece, it can be serviced immediately in boutique or, if necessary, sent to our atelier for professional cleaning.
For at-home cleaning, use a soft, dry cloth. Avoid water, alcohol, acetone, strong soaps, or abrasive substances.
7. Repairs and Maintenance
Any intervention should only be performed at our authorized centers. Attempting to open, modify, or repair the jewelry through third parties may void its warranty and compromise the integrity of the piece. For repairs, bring your piece to one of our boutiques for evaluation and cost estimation. Delivery times may vary depending on the complexity of the work.
8. Continuous Wearing and Natural Wear
Although our pieces are designed to last, they naturally experience wear over time. Periodic check-ups at our workshops will help maintain your jewelry in the best possible condition.
